Chevrolet is leading the way in offering electric vehicles to everyone, which is why we welcome our fourth member of the EV family – the new Equinox EV.

The Equinox EV takes up about the same footprint as the current Equinox SUV. It is designed to exude its sleek lines and a sporty profile.

To make it easier to get to your Equinox EV, innovative walk-up lighting, with front and rear lighting animation and a unique light bar, are available on mid- and up-level LT and RS trims. To keep your Equinox EV rolling, it wears 19-inch wheels standard, with 21-inch wheels available depending on the trim. For a finishing touch, a two-tone white roof on LT and a black roof on RS are available.

There is an available AutoSense liftgate that can open hands-free when sensing the key fob is near the back of the vehicle. That liftgate opens up to a spacious cargo area of up to 57.2 cubic feet. The Equinox EV is also available with a smart infotainment system based on Google Built-in. You will have instant access to Google Maps, Google Assistant, and the Play Store without having to connect your smartphone.

This sleek SUV rides on General Motors’ Ultium platform—a rock-solid EV platform that forms the basis of most battery-electric vehicles we sell. The Ultium system is available in two ways. The front-wheel-drive system with a single motor puts out an estimated 213 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque. A dual-motor eAWD system is available with 288 horsepower and 333 lb-ft of torque.

The Ultium platform and drive system were engineered to meet and exceed its competitors when it comes to range and recharging. For example, front-wheel drive models can achieve up to 319 miles of range on a full battery. A standard 11.5 kW Level 2 (AC) charging which can add up to 34 miles of range per hour of charging, per GM estimates. However, according to GM estimates, a standard DC fast-charging capability of up to 150 kW can return approximately 77 miles of range to be added in 10 minutes.

When you travel beyond Southern Minnesota, the MyChevrolet mobile vehicle app can tell you where your nearest public charging station is. You have access to over 174,000 public chargers, and the number is growing throughout the U.S. and Canada. You can get there without using both pedals, as One-Pedal Drivingis standard.

Additionally, the Equinox EV is equipped with Rear Park Assist, Reverse Automatic Braking, Safety Alert Seat, Rear Cross Traffic Braking, Blind Zone Steering Assist, and Adaptive Cruise Control.
