Sharper Design Inside and Out for 2023 Blazer
With its overt aggressive styling, the staff here at Chevrolet of Spring Valley tend to think of the Chevrolet Blazer as the Camaro of the Chevrolet crossover lineup. The design became even sharper for the 2023 model year with a restyled new fascia and tech enhancements for the interior. If you liked the Blazer before, you will like the 2023 Blazer even more.
The changes start at the front where the high-mounted LED daytime running lights are sleeker and flow more directly into the upper grille. The LED headlights are smaller but just as potent and are now connected to the grille via a trim piece from the reshaped lower grille. In the rear, new detailing within the LED tail light clusters gives the model a distinctive new light signature. The Blazer’s muscular side sculpting has been untouched but is now accented with new 18-, 20-, and 21-inch wheel designs. New interior colors include Radiant Red Tintcoat, Sterling Gray Metallic, and for all but the RS trim, Copper Bronze Metallic.
Larger Infotainment Display
Inside, all 2023 Blazers sport a 10-inch infotainment screen. Two inches larger than the previous screen, the display information is easier to see at a glance and the in-vehicle, Apple CarPlay, or Android controls are easier to locate. Along with the larger screen, all trim levels have available or standard wireless smartphone charging on the front of the center console using the Qi protocol.
The Chevy Safety Assist package is standard and includes Automatic Emergency Braking, Following Distance Indicator, Forward Collision Alert, Front Pedestrian Braking, Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning and IntelliBeam automatic high beams. The convenience of Adaptive Cruise Control has its availability now expanded to 2LT and 3LT trim levels.
Engine Choices Remain
The Blazer’s engine drivetrains are unchanged with a choice of a standard 228-horsepower turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-4, or the 30-horsepower 3.6-liter V-6 that is available on the 3LT and Premium trim levels and standard on the RS. All Blazers come with a standard nine-speed automatic transmission and a choice of either front- or an advanced dual-clutch all-wheel drive system.
As a midsize crossover, the Blazer hits a sweet spot for carrying a driver and four passengers and their cargo while sporting arguably the boldest styling in the segment. It really needs to be seen in person and driven to be fully appreciated, and we invite you to do just that at Chevrolet of Spring Valley.
