What Comes With the 2024 Chevy Colorado ZR2 Bison?

Chevy makes a pickup truck for all truck drivers. If you need something heavy duty that can take on any job, then you have the Silverado HD line. Something a little less bulky is also available in the form of the Silverado 1500. But drivers who want an all-purpose truck that can handle weekend projects, the daily commute and the occasional adventure all in one package can opt for the Chevy Colorado.

If you lean toward the latter portion of that previous sentence (the adventure part), then we would recommend a particular variant of the Colorado. It’s called the ZR2 Bison, and for 2024 it delivers some exciting equipment to take your adventures to the next level.

What Comes With the Colorado ZR2 Bison?

With this partnership, the Colorado is better equipped than ever to handle life off the beaten path, as it features state-of-the-art AEV parts and features. Some of those include:

  • AEV heavy-duty winch-capable front bumper
  • AEV rear bumper
  • AEV fender flares
  • AEV 17-inch beadlock-capable wheels

All this AEV equipment is reflected in the AEV badge featured on the front of the seat headrests and on the all-weather floor mats. Other design cues that suggest this isn’t your typical Chevy Colorado include the “flowtie” front badge and the Bison name on the exterior.

More notable offroad equipment includes segment-exclusive Multimatic front and rear Jounce Control Dampers. There are also boron steel skid plates and rocker protectors. For tires, the ZR2 Bison comes from the factory equipped with 25-inch 0D Mud/Terrain tires so that you have the right tires to handle offroad driving as soon as you drive the vehicle off the dealership lot.

The ZR2 Bison has best-in-class approach, departure and breakover angles, at 38.2 degrees, 26 degrees and 26.9 degrees, respectively. On top of that, it has a best-in-class ground clearance of 12.2 inches.

The 2024 Colorado ZR2 Bison is powered by a 2.7-liter turbocharged engine that is capable of delivering up to 310 horsepower. It is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and allows the pickup to have a max trailering capacity of 5,500 pounds.

Inside, the truck features an 11.3-inch touch screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto wireless capability, along with a Wi-Fi hotspot. To see all that, we suggest checking it out in person.
